What kind of information do we collect?
Absint d.o.o. (company), collects the following personal information for business purposes: name and surname, address and place of residence, e-mail address, contact telephone number, password in a hidden form, IP address of the device used to sign in and other information which a user enters in forms at www.BeLyke.com. The company shall not be accountable for the accuracy of the information entered by a user.
Method and purpose of processing of personal information
By visiting the website www.BeLyke.com the user agrees to the General Terms and Conditions published on this website and in force at any given time. At this location, the user can regularly monitor any changes to the General Terms and Conditions and, consequently, the methods and purpose of processing of the collected personal information.
Absint d.o.o., as the Administrator of personal information, will use the information exclusively for the purposes of completing an order (sending informative material, offers, invoices, everything related to the order) and other communication related to and necessary for the completion of an order.
The Administrator will also use the personal information for the purposes of direct marketing and analysing of purchasing habits based on information on purchased products and consequently targeted marketing. The User is entitled to at any time request in writing that the Administrator ceases, permanently or temporarily, to use their personal information and the purchase habit information for the above-mentioned purposes.
Subscription to the Newsletter
Users can subscribe to the Newsletter, through which Absint d.o.o. notifies them of new offers on-line and in other sales outlets, about marketing activities and other promotions up to 1 time every 14 days, until cancellation. By subscribing to the Newsletter, the user is added to the list of recipients of the Newsletter. When users subscribe to the Newsletter, the BeLyke webstore collects the following information: first and last name, e-mail address, IP, as well as the address and telephone number if the user signs in as a registered member.
Upon sending the form with the e-mail address, the User receives a confirmation e-mail – confirming that they have successfully subscribed to the Newsletter of the BeLyke webstore, until cancellation. The user may unsubscribe from the service at any time in writing by sending an e-mail to prodaja@belyke.com, or by clicking on the UNSUBSCRIBE button in the e-mail sent to request that the Administrator permanently or temporarily ceases to use their personal information for direct marketing purposes.The request will be granted within 15 days from the date of receipt of the request, as prescribed by law. The user may also request the transfer of information or access to it. The Administrator Absint d.o.o. undertakes to protect the information carefully in accordance with the legislation governing the protection of personal information.
User registration
In the BeLyke webstore, an individual can sign is as a registered user. The content of the webstore is also accessible to anonymous unregistered users (guests). Each registered user has their own username and password with which they identify themselves. The password is hidden and known only to the User. Registered users shall provide the requested information during the registration process. The User shall ensure that only themselves, or a person authorised to act on their behalf will use their name and password. The Administrator shall not be liable for the accuracy of the information entered by the User.
If the User registers, Absint d.o.o. will use the entered information until cancellation, to process the User’s order, prepare and provide even more relevant offers and for marketing analyses that will help improve the sale process. The information may also be used for re-marketing. Registration makes it easier for the User to keep track of past purchases and makes the purchase process quicker. Absint d.o.o. keeps the information until cancellation or termination in accordance with the Slovenian and the European legislation. The User may opt out at any time by sending an e-mail to prodaja@belyke.com or by clicking on the UN-SUBSCRIBE button in the e-mail sent. In the event that the User wishes to delete their user account, the e-mail message must contain the following information: the content of the message must indicate the name of the User, the address and the e-mail address with which the User has registered; the message must be sent from the e-mail address with which the User is signed in as a registered member.
Shopping as a guest
In the event that the User carries out the order as a guest, Absint d.o.o. will use the entered information to process the submitted order. In accordance with Article 86 of the ZDDV-1 (Value Added Tax Act), an on-line store as a taxable person shall ensure that the invoices relating to the supply of goods or services in the territory of Slovenia are kept for at least 10 years after the end of the year to which the invoices relate to – and thus that the information contained in the invoices shall also be kept. The user can also send specific inquiries to the BeLyke webstore via the contact forms or e-mail addresses published on the website, thereby entrusting the information to the Administrator. This information will be used to resolve users requests. The e-mail addresses listed on the website are not personal but business e-mail addresses. They are therefore not tied to a single natural person. Instead, the information transmitted this way may be processed by different persons – in order to resolve the User’s problem as quickly and as efficiently as possible. User’s rights
The User may request access to the personal information processed by the Administrator at any time, to restrict, erase, correct or transfer the information, object to the processing and submit a complaint with the Information Commissioner. At Absint d.o.o., the Personal Data Protection Officer is in charge of all things related to the exercise of your rights in the field of personal information protection and you can contact them at any time regarding all issues related to the processing of your personal information and the exercise of your rights under the applicable regulations governing the protection of personal information. How do we ensure information is protected?
The information provided by the User through the forms at the locations of the BeLyke webstore, or elsewhere (via e-mail, telephone, etc.) is confidential and is as such treated in accordance with the applicable Slovenian legislation. The company Absint d.o.o. shall protect and prevent personal information from being misused. Personal information shall only be used for the purposes to which the User consented. Access to personal information is granted by Absint d.o.o. only to authorised individuals (employees, contractual partners) with whom it has concluded appropriate agreements for the protection and processing of personal information. Additionally, the User is also responsible for the protection of their personal information by securing their username and password and using appropriate software (anti-virus) protection on their electronic devices.
BeLyke’s webstore uses SSL technology to encrypt all the information sent with orders for the transmission of all the User’s personal information. When the User enters their payment card details in case of paying by bank card, these details get transferred in encrypted form from the User’s computer directly to the bank’s server.
The information entrusted to the Administrator by the User shall be confidential. Absint d.o.o. shall not distribute them to any unauthorised third parties. The company may however submit personal information to trusted partners, or upon legal obligation and in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection Act.

- data processing companies and information services that ensure smooth website operation and its improvements (hosting on a server, e-mail marketing, etc.);
- marketing agencies for the purpose of re-marketing (in encrypted form);
- companies that ensure a smooth purchasing procedure (Bankart, delivery services, etc.), but only to the extent required for successful execution of an order;
- to authorised institutions if so required by law (court, etc.).
All partners who have access to personal information are obliged to handle the information carefully in accordance with European legislation.
